I agree wholeheartedly. Service really means a lot.
In the current economy, you can try to compete for alpaca sales by joining the price race-to-the-
bottom, or you can find ways to add value to the sale by offering superior service to your customers (including potential customers) and develop long-term relationships. I remember how my Uncle told me that during hard economic times while he was a car salesman, he would retain loyal customers who would buy a new car every year, specifically from him, because he made a point of offering excellent after-sale service including picking up the customers car every week and having it washed and vacuumed.
