Measure from the middle of the chest----down the side to the base of the tail.

How does one measure for a blanket?
I just took a trip to ebay, and there are two 42" mini horse / goat blankets for $9.99, plus $15 shipping. Says they are new. That would make each blanket $12.50. The item # is 220557806078 . They have several different sizes for the same price.
This past December, I missed three blankets for the same price. I had written to them asking how to measure. I didn't hear back, by the time I resent them a mail, that deal was gone.

Thank you so much Flossie for sending along this tidbit. I ordered one
of the XXXL from Big Dees. I was amazed at the quick shipment and it
fits all of my pacas. It *almost* fits my 2 miniature horses. I have
a waterproof blanket for the big horse but the minis have had nothing
this cold wet winter and I have vowed never to go thru another winter
without some protection for my 4 leggeds. This has been a most unusual
winter for us and this is not an item that will get much use around here
(in GA) so I was not willing to spend a bundle for them - haven't needed
them in all the years I've had these guys, and may never again, but will
feel much better knowing they are here. I will now wait for them to go
on sale and get one for everybody at the $12.95 price you got. I feel
certain I can buy some wide velcro and extend the belly strap to make
them fit the 2 horses - the front buckles fit ok on the very first hole,
but the belly strap just will not make it around their rather rotund
bellies lol. It should be an easy alteration by adding a length of
wide velcro. There's nothing in the horse world anywhere close to this
price.
Thanks again, I *really* appreciate your sharing!
