[AlpacaTalk] Re: bill against farms--HR 875, NAIS, Codex and more
You and Janice are so right this bill (HR 875), its companion bills and
the Codex Trade Agreement also scare the bejesus out of me.
I genuinely believe that as the list of Democratic Representatives grows
that this will turn out to be the real test of "party" power and cooperation.
I am basically non-political - don't have a commitment to either major party.
However, I see no option but to write, better email or call - they don't
get irradiated - to every Representative not on the list and Beg them to
vote down this bill and its companions. If you have read the section on
Definitions they are So vague that there is no limit to the power they are
granting.
I've started seeds, including herbs, for my animals - I will be a double criminal
when this passes, and a felon when I Can the produce I grow, spin the fleece
I shear or breed or sell an animal. When are we going to demand common
sense from these people who are supposed to be representatives of our needs
and freedoms. not corporate greed. Oh, I forgot, there is a Presidential Directive
that says we cannot use "Logical argument" to defend our actions or statements.
Yep, written under Clinton and signed by George Bush.
Take care all and Don't just sit there and think about it --call...
