[AlpacaTalk] What to use in barn.........

 

The previous owner had a 12x36 run in with a horse. We converted it to a 12x36 barn with a 12x36 overhang. The ground is very uneven and I would like to build it up about 3-6 inches inside the barn area before laying interlocking stall mats over the floor. What should I use to build up the ground????

(we will house our alpacas, 2 sheep and 2 goats in there) Our alpacas go in and out, usually hang under the overhang but seem to prefer staying out of the barn unless they are feeeding. Do you guys find your alpacas are the same way? (I always leave th barn door open)
