[AlpacaTalk] Park County CO info needed
Wondering if anyone currently lives in Park County Co or has knowledge
of their zoning. We are planning to buy a couple of Alpacas soon and
currently looking for a house. We've found a few we're interested in
near the Bailey area. I've called zoning and I was told that they are
not specifically listed in the zoning at all (it does include
llamas "and other hooved animals"). After trying to explain to the
lady that they're not really hooved and repeatedly being told that of
course they are I gave up. I'm assuming they'd be covered under the
llama clause though? The regs say 1 large livestock animal per 1/2
acre. BUT, it maxes at 4 animals per property. Doesn't matter whether
you have 2 acres or 10. She said they're considering changing that but
who knows when that would be! Anybody live there, have any experiences
with Park County, etc? How about Jefferson County?
