[AlpacaTalk] a new use for alpaca
<<<Sorry guys I got my terms confused. Please disregard everything in my
last post except for the sentence: If fed fresh it is the most
universal, natural, baby food there is. I will stand by that.
By for now, Wayne>>>
OK, lol; hopefully you figured out I was referring to
"ultra-pasteurized" which is industry's way of ensuring a loooong shelf
life for their product. The milk is heated to such a high temp that it
is virtually dead by the time they are finished with it. However, that
said, I have raised both my 2 legged kiddos on it and they are extremely
healthy.
But please do not feed raw eggs to any critter! Not good. Not only is
there a chance of introducing pathogens to a weak and vulnerable system
)in the case of cria) but raw egg binds thiamin (Vit B1) potentially
leading to dangerous deficiency.
Warmly, Janice in NW GA
