[AlpacaTalk] RE: Invitation to Join LinkedIn

<<<Actually, someone I DO business with networked me from LinkedIn
yesterday and I
did join it (it's sort of like a non-chatty Facebook for professionals)
. When I
joined, it asked whether I wanted to add other LinkedIn members who were
in my
Yahoo address book, and I did permit it to send invites to some of my
acquaintances - both professional and alpaca folks - so your invitation was
probably intentional. I've resisted joining LinkedIn because I was already
pretty busy with FB, but once I checked it out, it seemed to make sense.
It's
more professional than FB, which is more social; LinkedIn is for work
acquaintances and friends.

Thanks for the explanation Judith. I had no idea what it was.....now
I do.
I thought it was something like Grouply, that just sends invites out to
everyone in your address book and is a site you do NOT want to join.
