Re: [AlpacaTalk] AlpacaNation.com hacked?

Alrighty, Alpacanation has been back online I guess since this morning,
although I still had problems getting onto the site even after they
said it was fixed. But I cleared my browser cache, even deleted all
cookies, gave it an hour or so, then tried again, and I was then able
to get back into my AN account.

I want to give a big round of applause to everyone at AN, they always
answer questions immediately (unless it's a complaint about forum
moderation). Their handling of this problem, whatever it was, was quite
prompt and everything is back as it was. Thanks a million, Kristy, Ken,
and Tim!

Re: [AlpacaTalk] AlpacaNation.com hacked?

I received this from Kristy this morning. However, I do believe their
site was hacked, and those files it that my browser were downloading
after attempting to access my AN pages may have caused some computer
problems for me. My family members can access AN today, one is on a
Mac, the other is on a PC. So whatever those hackers did is now
preventing me from getting onto AN at all.

Although, Kristy did not confirm that they were indeed hacked, but I
believe it is so because of the activity on my browser during this
event. Now I just need to find my OS disks so I can repair my computer!
ARGH!

You might be surprised how reasonable those "call for
