Re: [AlpacaTalk] Buying Alpaca yarn?
Since it's "Friday Market" on AlpacaTalk, I'm free to advertise that
I have some alpaca yarn for sale!
What colors and weights are you looking for?
Right now I have 4 skeins bulky dark maroon, from my mature sire,
Sienna Illusion. I was amazed at how soft it is!
I also have several skeins of sport weight black from my black
herdsire, Cosby. You won't believe the sheen on this yarn!
I have some worsted weight handspun dark fawn, about 152 yards of
that, 5.3 oz.
And I have one 220 yd skein of beige handspun that I just finished
this morning. It does have an odd guard hair here and there, but I
was careful during carding to not use the hairy edges. And this is a
little bit thick and thin, but it's also a worsted weight.
I'll be sending off some more beige, fawn, and a bunch of white
pretty soon for processing.
