[AlpacaTalk] re: tooth-o-matic

Hay Don!
When are you going to be finished developing a tooth-o-matic for fighting teeth?
<eagerly awaiting>

I have to add my testimonial to the tooth o matic. There are times when with my neck injury, I am lucky to be able to handle my alpacas at all, and this tool makes things sooo easy. With just two people we can trim even the nastiest teeth, and it only takes seconds. The trick is multiple plates for the tool. Not every alpaca has the same bite, and the various plates make sure you get the right one for the job.
I wouldn't go back to OB wire for anything after using this.
We have trimmed with it for 4 years now (if I remember correctly) and figure it has paid for itself multiple times over. We have gotten so good with it we don't even have to use a pipe or anything to keep mouths open on most pacas.
It is much, much easier to use, lighter and faster than the old Makita 'one slot fits all' grinder that was on the market long ago.
Slainte~
