Just a quick update. I am learning so much from here, in the meantime we have had our 2 alpacas for 3plus weeks now. Thier prsonalities are showing so much. They are used to us now it seems and I love to interact with them. They have thier very own ways about them, they LOVE my 4 and 5 yr olds and spend much time right up against them. We spend every afternoon just playing in thier paddock while they hang out araound us and that seemed to allow them to check us out thoroughly while they got used to us. I never realized how much fun they could be! I have an old rocking chair that I will put in the field and sit on while my little kiddos play and my female alpaca will sit beside me. I'm loving this whole alpaca thing! What gentle creatures! Very sweet and safe for families!
