Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: [alpacapolitics] Re: AOBA fees

Nancy,

Don't forget that you can look at the entire Annual Meeting for ARI (last
years at least) on the ARI web site.

Look under the communication link on the left panel and then go to video
streaming. The whole presentation is there for everyone to look at. To my
knowledge this is the first time an annual conference was video taped and
displayed on our web site for Members to look at.

That's the good part. The bad part is you have to listen to some guy talk
way too long. :-)

Sorry you felt you had to reply to me this way. I trust the person who told
me this as much as I thought I trusted you.... I have explained the context
of how it was told....Is that enough? I am sorry I spoke out of line. I'm
beginning to wonder about the merits of this web site, anyway, mostly a lot of
bickering and not enough productive discussion.
I WILL sign my name.

So some unnamed breeder told you this, and we should accept this as fact?
Someone told me that one of the big breeders is actually from Mars.
She heard it firsthand from the breeder, so it has to be true.
The lies are here, where is the sex and videotape?

Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: [alpacapolitics] Re: AOBA fees

That's what I heard. Sad, isn't it. I got to go to F2F when they had it in
Atlanta. I get more out of that because I'm trying to learn to work with my
fiber. I thought they said they would alternate it from west to east every
other year, but it hasn't happened. We are in our dreaded 4th year and things
are pretty bleak..
Well the Bible said "it came to pass", it did not say "It came to
stay"............

Hi Nancy...

There is absolutely no requirement to have a paid conference registration to
attend the National AOBA or ARI meeting. The most recent meetings were held
in the same hall that housed the vendors. Anyone, including the public, had
access to that area and there was no entrance checkpoint for the meeting.
No credentials were required for the area or the meeting, nor for that
entire building, for that matter. Beyond the tribute to Jodi Wever, you
didn't miss a lot.

[AlpacaTalk] Romanik v. AOBA

Romanik vs. AOBA Judgment Rendered
Yesterday, January 3, 2008, District Court Judge Robert S. Hyatt, in the
City and County of Denver, Colorado rendered an opinion on Case Number: 06
CV 9010. The complete text of the Order can be read on the

A thorough reading of the judicial order in this proceeding should answer a
lot of the questions and settle many of the allegations that have
proliferated on these sites recently.
