[AlpacaTalk] Alpaca in need of a good home

Unfortunately two of our three alpacas passed away this summer. They had regular veterinary care, but the meningeal worm outbreak and hot weather was just too much this year. We are left with an intact male light fawn suri, that we need to either find him a companion, or be given to a good home. We've given this situation much thought and decided to post to alpaca talk in hopes someone in West Virginia or nearby would have the heart to take him into their herd. He is sound, has had no illnesses or worm load issues and seems to be parasite resistant considering we live in white tail deer country. He is used to our Karakachan livestock guardian dog, chickens and barn cats.

Once upon a time we considered getting into the alpaca business; however, our agricultural business preferences change. We are raising goats and would like to make his pen and building available for our goats this coming winter.
