Re: [AlpacaTalk] feeders

We use concrete mixing tubs from Home Depot - very cheap and hold a few flakes of hay.

[AlpacaTalk] Feeders

We use plastic feeding pans.  I  drill a few holes in the pans on one side to let out any  rain water and I drill another hole on the top on the other side to hang it.    We hang them on the wire fences with an  "S" hook.   We space them about 2-3- feet apart.    It works really well.   They have individual pans.   They can be moved far enough away to not cause a bunch of pushing and spitting.   They have worked great.   I just ordered a bunch more.    I tried the individual "feeder buckets" that hang over a 2-4 but they knock them all down, then the dogs chew on them and sometimes our  "lazy" girls that don't want to walk all the way out to the poop pile even wet and poo in them ...  ICK!
Hope that helps.
