Those are great ideas, everyone! The batt is large enough I can probably do them all, and I have two or three more blanket fleeces from her, not processed yet.

I do not knit or crochet, but I spin and weave.

I made some awesome chunky yarn from some roving I had made from her fleece, too, plied with some summery trellis/ladder ribbon yarn.

Thanks! I'm very happy with it. And being a beginner spinner, really, I'm pretty proud of myself for even attempting it! I don't think I've spun even 10 skeins of yarn since I started.

Hi everyone!

As you may remember, I lost my best foundation dam a couple of months ago. She was a true black Bolivian import. Now that she's gone, I want to put her fleece to the best use possible, and I definitely do not to waste any of it! I have a large batt that I had made from her fleece a couple of years ago, and I would like to make something really fabulous from it, but I'm having a creativity block.

Any ideas? Design and ornamentation ideas, too!

Maybe make yourself a nice Felt Hat from it, or felted scarf, that way she'll be with you when you wear it... :c)
