[AlpacaTalk] question about Tifton Hay

 

I have a question about Tifton Hay, Does anyone know anything about it and is it safe for my Alpacas to eat???

 

We live in East Texas, our pastures have dried right up already, an any good Coastal Hay has become scarce around here.

 

Our feed store is getting in some Tifton Hay tomorrow. And that is all were are seeing around here in feed stores is this Tifton Hay...

Is it safe for my Alpacas to eat????

 

We had noticed the hay we had been getting and paying a lot for is more like straw, terrible stuff and they won't eat, which I cannot blame them...

 

Any advice would be greatly appreciated....
