[AlpacaTalk] RE: shearing experience gone bad
<<<< Dearest Janet,
We have some wonderful shearers in this part of Ga. Email me privately
if you want some names......you will not have this problem with
them......I would push this lady as far as small claims court....at
least threaten her.

Thanks Nancy!! I will be contacting you off list.
As far as small claims court, I never threaten anything I do not intend
to follow thru on. I worked many years of my life in the legal
business; I know how to handle lawsuits, so no need for empty threats.
I am quite comfortable in a court of law.
And like Allison said, truth is always the only defense needed against
any threat of libel suits, so I am not worried on that front
either.....besides I have witnesses. I"ve been down that road before
and in fact have an umbrella insurance policy that covers me against
such threats......due to my work outing unethical international adoption
agencies.
Perhaps a list such as Sheri suggested would be a good idea. I have
been heavily involved in the international adoption world for many
years. There are an unbelievable number of skanks in that world. They
threaten horrendous things to potential adoptive parents to keep their
mouth shut about some of the disgusting practices going on.....and most
of these potential parents are so desperate to become parents they fall
into line, shut their mouth, and horrible practices continue. A list
was started that outed these "professionals" and supported parents and
the children needing homes and families. A list that blew the cover
off the underhanded things going on. It can be done.
