[AlpacaTalk] RE: shearing experience gone bad

 

<<< Pictures of the injuries should always be taken:to protect
yourself in case someone would see the animal and think it was
abuse,notify your vet also in case the Humane Society comes to investigate.
The pics would be helpful if you go to court.The other reason would be
have proof if the animal had died.Just some thoughts that we should all
think about if we are in this situation.Always,T

Good points Tina. I didn't think to run get a camera; I was in a state
of shock over the amt of blood gushing. But I *do* still have all the
blood soaked rags and paper towels. The fact that my vet was contacted
should suffice after the fact. All I want at this point is for the
woman to do the right thing and refund the money that was overcharged.
I have laid it out in detail in writing to her. She just needs to step
up to the plate and do the right thing.
