[AlpacaTalk] RE: shearing experience gone bad
<<<My biggest concern is that someone who is not a vet is doing fecals
... and then actually charging money to do that! Maybe Dr. Ruthanne will
chime in, but I would absolutely consider that a no-no--- but someone in
the vet community would know for sure. I took a seminar to do fecals
from Dr. Ruthanne, but no way would I do them for someone
else.....especially for money. Maybe you could get the vet community on
her, but......I don't know.....I'd say consult with somebody who really
knows that stuff first....or get a lawyer.
Good luck...and no way would I let that woman back on my property. She
may be 'nice', but if she doesn't do the job she was hired to do, she's
out the door for good. 'Nice' just ain't enough, sometimes.

Good point about the vet community Susan; I'll check around.
I sure would love to take a seminar or some training on doing fecals.
I've attempted a few times over the years, but I just can't see a thing!
And you are correct - clearly she is not as nice as I gave her credit
for and certainly not a caring person. I make a lot of allowances for
people, but once they reveal themselves to be less than humane they are
out. Her defensive and angry reaction to my concerns about the charges
tell all.
