Re: [AlpacaTalk] shearing questions
We always put the Blanket in a separate Bag, and if it is a really good fleece, when we go to shear, we have it put onto a clean (New) white sheet and sheared with a show cut...
and usually the Neck goes in one Bag and the Legs in one. (All animals have their own bag.)
Also, on a card, we put the Name of the Animal, it's ARI #, Color and so forth go on a card and is placed in the Bag for easy I.D.
We use to put the Neck & Legs in one bag together, (Our first two years) but we don't any more, there is a difference in them.
That is just how we do things here.
Hope this helps... :c)

They are nice and clean.
I will want to take the fleece and have it turned into roving, possibly combining some with some nice wool.
Do I need to sort the fleece into different bags, or do I put the whole fleece from each animal into the same bag?
Of course, I would throw away the dirty parts, but I mean clean fleece.
