Yes I love my vet!  Sometimes I don't know how she makes a living (well, I think they make it up on the pet trade, actually, 'cause I get no deals there, that's for sure except a group rate for office calls).  I just had 6 BVD tests run, and it cost me $72; the lab charged $36/pool and they pooled 5 and tested one separately, so it breaks down to $12/test.  If I'd had to have 10 tested, the per test fee would have only been $7.20.  Beats AOBA. I love my state ag dept. too!

WOW!  you get a deal!  My vet's office/home is 12 minutes from my
house and I pay $50 farm visit and $20 per shot!  When I had my
animals at another farm instead of right here, I had to pay her $75
for the visit!  I know that other parts of the country pay even more
though.  It's like real estate....location...location...location......
