HI Susan,
my opinion is the colostrum would probably be good for next year but I would ask Useful Lama what their manufacturer has to say.
As for feeding the colostrum mixture after 24 hours of birth, to me would not be a good idea. The cria can not accept the colostrum at this point and now needs nutrients and supplements that are not found in the colostrum mix, so it would be a false sense of feeding.
We have a cria that was born 1 month early we are bottle feeding with Manna Pro Goat Kid milk supplement. Have been doing this for 3 days and we are not out of the woods yet.
