It depends on how you look at it. I have felt for a very long time that
AOBA is seriously broken. Many people are talking about not renewing
their membership. This latest occurrence just might be the last straw
for those people who were already disillusioned and questioning the
value of AOBA membership.
A board member felt no option but to resign because of the personal
agenda of another board member, and a dangerous ethical environment in
AOBA, perhaps the board specifically. Damning. One can jump to
conclusions about which board member and his personal agenda was the
cause of this.
