Re: [AlpacaTalk] A new organization???
Hi Mary,
the trouble with a new organization is forming one leads to further divide when what we need to do is come together. In pretty much every case with regards to llamas, alpacas (say in Australia) and other less traditional livestock the forming of a new and separate organization has resulted in some level of collapse. Many times that collapse has been catastrophic. Think llamas.
Working to fix what we have is a far better use of time and resources. We have done it before with AOBA and we can do it again.
I'm uncertain where the fault lines are in AOBA right now and am looking for more data before coming to any conclusions.
Seeking out more data.

I think it may be something to consider . . . I've worked with non
profits my whole life and this kind of thing is always happening,
people have agendas they want to follow which is contrary to the way
things should be. In the past when this has happened, new organization
pop up and move back in the right direction. I believe they call that a
revolution? It may be time . . .
