Oh Heidi, please don't leave. You have been so helpful to me and have
contributed so much knowledge. Don't leave.....just delete and don't
read these posts. That is what I am doing (except that since I am on
digest I have to scroll thru them to get to what I want to read, so I
can't help but see a few lines as they scroll past). This particular
conversation is of no interest to me personally, but I see no reason why
those that are interested can't continue to express their views and have
a good lively spirited disagreement. That is how information comes to
light. I will continue to delete, as this particular info is of no use
to me. Earlier this year I came to the list after being too busy to
read it for a while and there was this sort of "rant" going on. It
disturbed me as there were similar "rants" going on some of my other
lists. I just wanted to read about caring for alpacas. I posted my
thoughts about that and said I wan't going to read any more; and I
didn't for a while, but when I needed help this is the first place I
came. I realize now in a calmer environment (my other lists aren't
ranting) that I don't need to read it, can just scan for the topics that
are of interest to me (and wish we could talk about prepping fiber, etc).

When these "rants" aren't going on there is such a wealth of help and
support here in this group. I don't need to weigh in on this subject,
just as those not interested in discussing fiber prep/felting/etc don't
have to participate in that discussion - should we ever have one. I
would hate to lose your voice. When I was dealing with emergencies this
group really came thru for me - on list and off and I feel I have made
several good friends here that I can call on. There is room here for
all sides.
