For what its worth, I have never been turned away from any meeting of
AOBA, ARI or AFCNA - even when I did not pay the conference fee. I
have done this a few times now.
I didn't take the free chow. I didn't attend any part of the
conference not open to the general public.
If you want to go to a meeting, go I say, go. Speak up and be
heard. It is your Association after all!
I would agree that the fees have gotten a little high over the years.
Sometimes there is a lot more flash and glitter than is really
needed, and that of course adds expense.
