Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: AOBA Shennanigans/subsidiary
Well, Libby, I am also thankful that I am not on the board of an
organization that sees fit to go through so much to hide what they're
doing from their membership, and so far to create a for-profit
organisation that does not have to answer to AOBA BOD, who will be
perfectly free to divert important funds from AOBA and pay its
directors generous salaries.
But seriously, you think that I am the only person that these so very
generous benefactors are sending emails to? Do they really think I am
the only person who will buy their animals for sale or their herdsire
services? These benefactor farms must think I have a lot more
disposable income than I do, and they must certainly think I have a lot
of influence in this industry if I am the only person receiving these
emails! Wow!
Do you see fit to disclose the names of people to me who have sent
emails to you in the last 2 months? You're apparently not on the AOBA
board, so I would like to know why the list of people who send emails
to is so important to you? My inbox is private, just as is my USPS
mailbox. All of my correspondences from the Show Division, for example,
have confidentiality notice included.
I'd like to know why it is so important to you that I disclose the
names of those benefactors. Are they not supposed to use the membership
directory in this manner? Are you doing market research? What business
is it of yours who sends me emails?
