[AlpacaTalk] Basement Barn
Hello all
Friends and clients are building a new barn and would like to utilize the lay of the land (hill) to build a 2 story barn. The majority of the alpacas would be kept on the lower level (basement) with only one side open and exposed to the south. Having natural light in this area is a concern of ours. They will have auto-waterers in this area and creep feeders for weaning crias. Do any of you have any suggestions/ concerns or things to avoid with this type of barn design for alpacas.
Thank you in advance,
