Way to go Judy!
We are scheduled for May 8th...I hope! We have 20 and the other farm has about 30, so we have a big day ahead of us too! I will get the cooler full of ice and chuck it full of water and gatorade! I am bound and determined that I will build a nice skirting table and start skirting the fleece quickly and get some fiber off to the mills! The remainder fiber I think I may make some pet pillows. My cats love sleeping on my last years fiber. She looks soooo cozy! We also make a nice lunch with lunch meat sandwhiches, veggies and snacks. We try and wait until we only have a few animals left before eating....it'

I was pleasantly pleased that the quality of the fibre in my herd has improved a lot over the last year.
And no one spit on anyone. It was a very laid back shearing.
