[AlpacaTalk] Re: Shearing Cria
Robin,
Spring is the time for shearing! I am in my first year of learning everything Alpaca. This weekend I made the time to go visit Seldom Scene Farm in Frankfort, Ky. I helped sweep all day and learned so much from these great Alpaca farmers. I took allot of pictures and asked questions all day long. You can find their farm on Facebook as well as mine to see some of the pictures. I will be happy to email pictures and video to you as well if you like. They hired www.alpacashearing.

We had a cria that broke her leg last year. They shaved her hip for surgery. Her fiber on that hip area is awesome. I wish we would have sheared her all over! This year the cria will be sheared.
