Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: Old Boys Club
Here's an idea, there are many excellent sires that are used to improve
the national herd, only a very few are owned by MS and his program.
That he has his herdsires to promote, makes his status as "Senior Judge
Trainer" a huge conflict of interest! Does anyone think he's training
judges to look for anything EXCEPT what is represented by his sire
string?
Honest efforts? Making the system judge for what HE owns is suspect.
Snowmass Alpacas has arguably some of the best alpacas in the country,
if not the world. We don't see their sires included in that "Ideal"
system, as a rule.
Why do you think so many people sponsor shows that are ALSA judged, or
IAJS judged? It's because AOBA and its judging system is flawed and
maybe not as squeaky clean as some would have you believe.
I am very fatiqued by you people who constantly say "If you don't like
it, don't complain, go set up your own *insert topic here*." That is a
cop-out for allowing unfairness and injustice to continue unchecked.
You don't like the government? Well move to Sweden, then! I call
bullshit on that type of argument. Some of us want to stay within the
system but make it really fair and just.
Best regards,
Heather
