[AlpacaTalk] Re: AOBA Shennanigans/subsidiary ** ad design

Hi Heather,
I don't know about the rest, but as for my experience (AOBA gives ARF free e-blasts for our Super Stud Raffle- thanks AOBA!!) we have to design the ads- they just send them out for us.

Everyone, please take a deep breath, I am afraid there are going to be some strokes in the near future, and we have lost too many good alpaca people already!!!
Breathe!!!!
Slainte~

Hmmm. I don't recall opting out of anything in my ARI membership, and
having just looked at my membership info online, I can't for the life
of me find out what you're talking about or where to change whatever it
is you claim I have opted out of! Do tell, I'd love to change it asap.

I never implied that AOBA designed ads for "benefactors" who send out
innumerable email ads, although your prior posts did seem to imply it
did desing them for those who purchased email blasts at the $200 each
level. I only said that was not the case, as that is the "work" of
placing email ads, the rest is just a very simple script inserting the
email address at the top of the ads to be sent out, and hardly worth
$200 per send.

Please try to keep focus. The difference is that these "benefactors"
get to send out as many of these emails as they wish, for their very
generous donation to AOBA. The rest of us have to pay $200 per email
blast to have AOBA send our message to the membership. That's $200 per
message! You really don't see the inequity in this scheme? Good lord.

Heather
