With the risk of becoming a new target:
1. I own several Yahoo groups. The term "own" means they belong to
me; I opened them--I can close them; I allow people on--I can thrown
people off; I set the discussion parameters and members' status--I can
decide to end a discussion when I don't like it and I can monitor
anyone's or everyone's posts even if it is just because I don't like
the state they live in. Rick, although I don't know him, has the right
to do whatever he wants with that list.
2. With that said, I feel that any further discussion of third parties
should only be done with their presence. Rick is not on this list and
it is not fair to him that we are discussing him here. Rick offers a
service--if that service is not wanted or liked, then people should not
join his group.
