Hello Aileen,
I understand and sympathize with your confusion. Yes, you probably have
the wrong site. You probably want Alpacasite which is dedicated to animal
care, etc. etc. Politics are pretty quickly moved off Alpacasite. This
site Alpaca Talk was set up by Heather as moderator to use as she sees fit
and she permits anything to be said, whether or not it's true, and that
forces people to either accept what she says or challenge it;..resulting in
pretty frustrating conversations for all. I've chosen to challenge her
rather than just let unsubstantiated comments sit out there for new people
to be confused by.
So, in all honesty, you probably want Alpacasite. It's a terrific site run
by Rick Horn. Nothing is perfect but I think it's more of what you are
looking for re: alpaca health, etc., etc. There's also a marketing site
(Erin McCarthy, moderator) and a politics site, although I suspect you want
to stay away from the politics site as well as it's not moderated.

Hello all-I must say, I am brand new to this group and am completly
bewildered and confused. Why is all of this going on out in the public for
many people to read. I thought this group was for people who were
interested in learning more about the Alpaca business. Am I mistaken? Maybe

You can see very well I have never made up stories. Are the things I
said about specific people not true? I have more info, I can go on. But
right now I have to go out and do chores.
I won't follow you down the road you're of name calling. I know what I
know and while I can't see the future, that is true, I can see what
might very well happen, and the AOBA membership deserves more control!
End of story!
