Oh thats great. I have an account with Ramm. We use them for horse stuff.

Where do you have your females birth? Do you have to assist? Or do you wake
up and find a baby.

With our horses we remove them from the herd 90 days prior to birth and give
them a foaling stall and private turnout. We watch them 24-7 the 2 weeks
prior to birthing. We do not assit with birth unless the mare struggles, which
is about 10% of the time. Maybe now more since we have a group of new mothers
and another group of seniors.

Then babies are checked, imprinted and their navel treated. Stalls striped
and cleaned and the mare turned out within hours. She doesnt return to the herd
with her foal till it is 2 weeks old.

How does that compare with alpacas??
