[AlpacaTalk] Virus Update & AlpacaWatch

Good news today. The last 24 hours have been quite slow, with only a
few new reports coming in, and no deaths. Perhaps this means that the
virus is dieing out now. We can all hope!

Total herd size reported: 3556
Total number reported infected: 1714
Total number of deaths reported: 40 from owners and 6+ from
vets/universities

Please keep the reports coming! It is important to get a clear idea of
what is going on. If the virus is dieing out that is great, but we need
to know. Reports can be made www.alpacawatch.com/?page_id=4

We now have over 400 members of AlpacaWatch, and we are still in day 4!
I am working on a map showing where our members are located. We do have
members in Canada and Australia!

You will begin to see changes on the page, as we move from a virus
information page to an early warning and information community. Be sure
to save www.alpacawatch.com <http://www.alpacawatch.com/> to your
favorites.
