[AlpacaTalk] Virus and Info Update
Alpaca Watch was designed and set-up by a number of concerned alpaca
owners and breeders. With the outbreaks of the unknown ARS virus we were
shocked how long it took to get the word out. None of the organizations
we had expected to alert us did. We relied on word of mouth and posting
on countless yahoo lists.
In the future we want a say in when, how and why we are alerted to
concerns impacting the alpaca community. By joining Alpaca Watch we each
become a resource and part of the solution. As a member of Alpaca Watch
let us know when you become aware of an issue that may affect the alpaca
community.
If you want to be added to the Alpaca Watch mailing list please use the
form in the left menu. The information will be used for no other purpose
than to alert alpaca owners of important news and health issues.
Please keep the reports coming it! If this outbreak teaches us
anything: let it teach us to be our own advocates, to be proactive, and
to become part of the solution!
