[Alpacasite] judges clinic

Libby and Jan,

the info that Mary and Anthony are attending a judge's recertification clinic is important for what reason? If they have met the requirements of the sanctions for that incident AND they are known to be very good judges, what is this about? People make mistakes, generally pay for them somehow and move forward. Frankly I have never heard anything but good things about their judging. Getting re-certified is a " positive" step, not a negative one. This would be a 'fact' of note if they were the ONLY attendees as a personal favor; but otherwise I think it falls more in the cry wolf, or the sky is falling message. Just my personal take on it. Re-certification is a definite positive.

I have a suggestion though that might help. For those that like to hear the re-hash over and over or those new and don't have a clue what this is all about..Ken could establish a website for information that he can list on his signature line. That way we can access his volumes of herd management, fiber information which I highly value; as well as his litany of mis-deeds past and present committed by alpaca folks, along with the intense condemnations be they right or wrong.

This would save so much time for everyone and keep things civil when it is of a political nature since he doesn't want to join alpacapolitics to do this rehash of misdeeds or disagreements.

And Tim, just read your post. Afraid for the information to be known by new people? I would have to say a polite nuts to that thought! Just prefer positives, moving forward, and balance. Moving a nasty discussion to politics site is not curtailing information. It isn't moved unless it is a dead horse being dug up again or gets very personally nasty.
