Oh you'll have 50 hours alright. It'll be like this:
Daily poop patrol: 2 hours. Those 2 hours include all of the trips inside to
get everyone to come look at how cute Fluffy looks with hay on her head.
Putting hay out: 3 hours. Of course, that includes all of the time you sit
just listening to them chomp, trying to get Buffy to quit spitting at Muffy,
and trying to imitate the pronk that Scruffy does.
There will be a couple of hours spent explaining to the fire department why
you called 911 for an emergency because you thought something was wrong with
Muffy when she was just stretched out in the sun for an afternoon nap.
There will be the 6 hours weekly trying to see fetal movement on a 2 month
pregnant alpaca.
There will be the panicked calls to the vet because Buffy has a droopy lower
lip and green stuff dribbling out. The vet will explain for the umpteenth
time that she has been in spitting match with someone.
Weekends will be spent playing with halter training and deciding on who gets
to give the shots this month. You'll be very well practiced at rock, paper,
scissors.
Forget the TV at night, you'll either be running out to see if they're okay,
or be on babynames.com trying to come up with clever names for next year's
crias.
Yeah, life is good...
