Re: [AlpacaTalk] Van riding...

I bet that was so sweet to see them look at the Christmas lights, mine love it when we put them on the house, I told my DH I want to put them on the barn this year too...

I have a buckboard buggy out front with a statue of a lil boy & pup sitting on it, and we put light up all around the buggy and the ribs for the covered wagon part, and I have a animated lighted horse that the head & one front leg moves up and down on, and they would stare for the longest time till they finally realized it wasn't nothing to worry about.

I also fix it up at Halloween with a skeleton driving the buggy with Halloween lights....

Yep, I do think we should go ahead and get a mini van, that sounds like a winner to me!

Thanks all for all the in puts & For the question in the first place Carla!

One night during the Christmas season, one of the vets from UGA called and asked if I could bring a couple of geldings over to donate blood.  I loaded them up in the mini van and off we went.  As we got on the main hyway , Christmas lights were every where.  I was amazed that one of the boys would hum with delight when he saw some that attracted him, I'm sure he had never seen such before.
Another one who I took to the vet scooted up between the second row of seats so that he could see where we were going.  I was behind a driver on a particularly hilly stretch who rode their brakes.  He got tired of the aggravatiing forward leaning every time the breaks were applied.
He became so annoyed that he would grunt with disgust when he saw their red brake lights come on.
