I have been searching for more info on soil copper levels, and it's not easy to find. I suppose we must contact our state Agirculture Extension for the info, and request a copy of the analysis from our hay growers. I can't believe we haven't done that...


I did find one grower online, from the same region as our grower. He has the report on his website, and for his 2nd cut orchard grass, the protein is far lower than the recommended level for alpacas. It is reasonable that our hay is probably similar in quality.
