[AlpacaTalk] Do You Want 50% Of The Cake Or 3%?
Having your website ranking in Google is no longer good enough—
it has to be in the right position as well.
Recent studies show that the #1 position on page one of the search
results gets between 43% and 52% of all the clicks from that page, #2
gets 13% and at the bottom of the page, #10 gets less than 3%.
For a search term like “alpaca ny” that has 1,000 searches a month,
even the lower figure means that the farm in #1 position will get
about 430 clicks compared to 30 for #10. For the sake of example,
if the farm makes a sale averaging $5,000 for every 100 visitors,
that equates to $20,000 a month for the top farm and $5,000 every
3 months for the bottom one. That is 1200% difference!
What would it be worth to you to be #1 in your local area?
