I feed the Mazuri Alpaca growth and reproduction at the rate of 0.33 times 50 lbs of body weight twice a day.
100 lbs alpaca would get about a pound to a pound and a half depending on gestation. (1 cup twice a day) plus fiber suppliment and minerals. (Evans)
Always make sure that they get good quality Hay, water and pasture as this is needed for a good rumen to digest the supplement.
Feeding twice a day allows for digestion and lets you see and observe your animals for any signs of illness.
