Re: [AlpacaTalk] Need plans for AOBA obstacle course bridge
Hi Joyce -- I'm going to e-mail you off-list with photos of a bridge that we (Alpaca Breeders of WNY) built for our shows. I got the photos from Audrey at Kickapoo Ranch when we were trying to figure out how to build out obstacles, and they were very helpful in our design and construction of our bridge. One thing I would suggest (from experience :-)) is that you be sure to place a support under the center of the bridge, and I would also make it somewhat shorter than the one in the photos. However, the photos s hould give you some idea how to construct it. The ramp on one end and the steps on the other are separate pieces which are placed abutting the bridge ends. This makes it easier to dismantle and store the bridge in between events.

Subject: [AlpacaTalk] Need plans for AOBA obstacle course bridge
I need some kind of plans for making an obstacle course bridge. If
nothing else, I need measurements. Apparently I need to make a bridge,
a large step for one end and a ramp for the other end. Any help is
greatly appreciated. Thanks.
