Re: [AlpacaTalk] RE: Bone Tumor Update
Thanks Janice. I will pass this along as well to the vets.
Minis are kinda kool, arent they? I have three colts, from my two mares, and one stallion. Looks like I will have the boys for a while. When, if, I do sell them, the buyer will be in for a grilling. Not just any one will get them.
Thanks!

Subject: [AlpacaTalk] RE: Bone Tumor Update
Hi Jim,
I was going to suggest either Dr Pugh over at Auburn; they have a
camelid dept; or Dr Norm Evans. But if Dr. Anderson is an orthopedist
then he is the go to man in this instance.
I would contact ahead of time if I were you and explain the situation.
He may have some suggestions, or may request a certain type of xray or
test from your local vet. I have no experience with him but I know that
Dr Pugh over at Auburn U (AL) and his staff will work closely with local
vets and do take calls from alpaca/llama owners as well.
He might have something to say that could possibly ease your worry.
BTW, we have miniature horses also. Santa brought my dd a pair the Cmas
she was 5yo. Real cutie pies.
Warmly, Janice in NW GA
