[AlpacaTalk] RE: Bone Tumor Update

<<<<Minis are kinda kool, arent they? I have three colts, from my two
mares, and one stallion. Looks like I will have the boys for a while.
When, if, I do sell them, the buyer will be in for a grilling. Not just
any one will get them.

Thanks!

I know what you mean. Realistically I should get rid of ours. I can't
even afford to feed them these days. But they are so handsome. My dd
has outgrown them and as Santa brought her a Tenn Walker 2 christmases
ago, she hasn't rode or even worked with the minis for several years.
They are rotten! But today I looked out and saw them galloping around
the pasture (I use that word loosely - mud pit would be more accurate
this winter) and just watched in awe at their beauty as they galloped
and bucked. Pure beauty and freedom. One *was* a drop dead gorgeous
black stallion that everyone told me I *had* to have neutered but I just
could not bring myself to do it. He was SO handsome and studly and ran
like the wind with his long beautiful tail sailing behind him. But oh
he was a stinker and a biter. I know nothing about horses, and
definitely know nothing about breeding them. When Santa approached me
about this Tenn Walker mare that needed a home I knew the boy's time had
come :-(. It was a sad sad day for me, but I had no way to separate him
from the mare and I was told it would be a nightmare (no pun intended!).
He has lost a bit of his studly posture, but still is as beautiful as
ever. His companion was/is a gelding. They came together. They run
together. I would have loved to have been able to breed the boy. I
have been told so many times he is the most beautiful mini ever.

I have been curious about your name. Do you have other miniatures? I
always wanted a farm of miniature livestock of various
species....donkeys, Dexter cows, etc.

Warmly, Janice
