[AlpacaTalk] Re: wanted: source for bamboo fiber
Thanks to everyone who has responded. Yes, I had an idea that bamboo
fiber was not anything close to "green", as is the case with rayon,
viscose, and tencel. And I won't consider pre-emergent silk which
kills the larvae before they leave their cocoon. And, I have limited
experience with some other shorn fibers, and besides vicuña and musk-
ox, nothing comes close to or surpasses alpaca.
So I guess I'll have to leave it up to customers, their sense of
touch, and their conscience, as to what type of fiber they want to
blend with my alpaca fleeces!
Thanks everyone!
