Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: Fleas

Safe for everybody, just adjust to weight for a cat you'd use about a 1/16 tsp DE to a med sized pinch of sulpher, and yes it is safe for everyone. Put in a syringe with a little warm water to make sure the cats get their dose. Sulpher is actually a part of the fleece and fleece production, anything in moderation is great, but natural does take some time or repeat doses as opposed to those toxic chemicals in a one bang deal. I have used DE for over 10+ years on everything on our farm including the rabbits, put daily in feed will help utilize full feed potential as well as leave the rumen or gut at about 7ph which any kind of worm cannot live in;D Great stuff, and it is also safe to apply to the animals as well, yes there is dust but keep away from face and mouth.

Thanks, June! Is yellow sulphur safe for alpacas and cats too?

DE works on even the hardiest species of worms if you use yellow sulpher
with it. 1 tsp DE to 1/8 tsp sulpher for a 100lb animal.
