[AlpacaTalk] Re: Old Boys Club
Well, Heidi, that's what I find so wonderful about living here in
America -- we have the ability to speak out about what bother's us
in any kind of forum we'd like. We also get to tell people who would
oppress that right, to go get stuffed!! If you don't like hearing
people voice concern, regret, or even dissatisfaction, then YOU have
the right to leave the forum, walk away, turn off the TV, or what
have you, and I for one would NEVER think of depriving you of that
right. Please, exercise your right.
BTW, I have spoken to a board member and would like to mention, that
the communication that went out was most certainly less than
satisfactory and they have no intention of pushing a meat agenda for
alpacas. They are looking at that model for a model to use for
advertising the advantages of alpacas.
Ian has always talked about the alpaca meat aspects, he can continue
to talk about it if he likes. I wish he'd stop but he is entitled to
his opinion if he likes. My understanding is the board is taking no
view for or against using alpacas for meat and hides. they intend on
being neutral on the subject.
Heather, I think your membership plan is inspired!!! Particularly in
this economic environment.
