[AlpacaTalk] PS: Advertising Discussion
I personally love Ellie's posts and hope to get her book whenever I can
afford it. I would read her blog if I had time.....but I can't even
keep up with email so certainly do not have time to go to websites or
read blogs. If not for this list, I wouldn't know about her books or
her advice. I think the info she shares is of benefit to us all and is
always so upbeat it brightens my day and lightens my gloom over the
economy and my lack of business. But it *is* a product she is selling
and I can see how it is a slippery slope.
Personally I would also love to know about any inventive and creative
alpaca related products any of us have developed.
Maybe you could do what one of my homeschool lists does.....they have a
advertising day once a week or once a month where folks are allowed to
advertise whatever they have to sell.
Come to think of it, I wouldn't mind a bit knowing what fiber products
any of you have to sell.
Or anything at all for that matter.
I much prefer purchasing from folks I "know" than from complete
strangers. If there is a product that someone here has used and really
likes, and it is sold by someone on this list, that shouldn't preclude
the user from being able to tell us about it, should it? And for us to
have a discussion about the pros and cons, what we liked, didn't like?
Again, I have that handy dandy delete button for what I don't care to read.
